Representatives of HALO Trust held a lecture on the risks associated with explosive devices for students of the Faculty of Ground Facilities and Airfields

On April 19, students and teachers of the Faculty of Ground Structures and Airfields had the opportunity to attend a lecture on the risks associated with explosive objects. The event was organized by the Department of Aerospace Geodesy and Land Management of the FGFA with the participation of representatives of The HALO Trust, a charitable organization that carries out humanitarian mine action in Ukraine.

Lecturer Yaroslav Pashchenko introduced the concept of a mine, the types of these explosive devices and other types of explosives that have been discovered in Ukraine. He also described the signs of potentially dangerous areas where mines can be found, methods of concealing explosive objects, official and unofficial warning signs, as well as the correct actions to save health and life.

Participants of the educational process actively joined the discussion of mined places and territories of our country, noting the importance of deepening knowledge on the subject of handling explosive objects to ensure their own safety and confident actions in emergency situations.
