AERONAUTICS AND SPACE TECHNOLOGY

SPECIALTY: TECHNOLOGIES AND AIRPORT TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

Higher Mathematics.

Lectures - 175 hr., Seminars - 193 hr., Consultations - 20 hr., Self-learning - 206 hr., 1st, 2nd and 3rd semesters - examination, 4th semester - test.

Linear algebra (determinants, matrices, systems of linear algebraic equations). Vectors. Analytic geometry (coordinate method, straight line, plane, ellipse, hyperbola, parabola). Limits, continuity. Differential calculus of functions of one and several variables. Complex numbers and polynomials. Integral calculus. Differential equations. Series. Multiple, line and surface integrals. Probability theory (random events, discrete and continuous random variables). Basic problems of mathematical statistics.

Problems of linear algebra and analytic geometry (coordinate method, straight line, plane, hyperbola, parabola). Differential calculus. Optimization problems. Integral calculus. Computing areas, length of curves, volumes of solids and area of surfaces. Integrating differential equations. Series. Computing multiple, line and surface integrals. Problems of the probability theory and mathematical statistics.

Prerequisite: not required.

Physics.

Lectures - 106 hr., Seminars - 18 hr., Labs - 53 hr., Consultations - 20 hr., Self-learning - 100 hr., 2nd and 3rd semesters - examination, 4th semester - test.

Mechanics: kinematics, dynamics; forces of inertia; laws of conservation of momentum, angular momentum, energy; relativistic mechanics. Molecular physics and thermodynamics: kinetic theory; 1st and 2nd law of thermodynamics; entropy. Electromagnetism: electrostatic field; conductors and dielectrics in an electrostatic field; laws of current electricity; magnetic field; electromagnetic induction; Maxwells equations. Oscillations: harmonic, damped, forced mechanical and electromagnetic oscillations. Wave physics: mechanical, electromagnetic waves; interference, diffraction, dispersion, polarization. Quantum physics: quantum properties of radiation; Schredingers equation; atom and molecule spectra. Solid-state physics: quantum statistics; zone theory. Nuclear physics.

Prerequisite: secondary school program in physics, mathematics and chemistry; Higher mathematics.

Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics.

Lectures - 34 hr., Seminars - 87 hr., Consultations - 10 hr., Self-learning - 85 hr., 1st semester - examination, 2nd and 3rd semester - test.

Bases of geometrical modeling: a method of two images, Monge method, axonometric projections, perspective, projections with numerical marks. Decision of positional and metric problems, construction of shadows. Computer graphics: the review of the technical, mathematical, linguistic and software components. Engineering graphics: performance of architectural-construction plans with the help of graphic editor ArchiCAD.

Prerequisite: not required.
