Education in foreign language
The English project at NAU was founded in 1999. A great contribution to its development had been made by the Rector, professor M.Kulyk and professors G.Suslova, O.Akhmaldinova, Yu.Veruzskii, V.Kas’yanov, A.Tunik and others.
More and more students are getting involved into the process of education in English. Because of this tendency, which has continued for the last several years, the number of English-speaking students is being increased. So, in 2009-2010 academic year 1407 students studied in English (54 of them are foreigners). And this is a natural process as fluent English significantly increases ever-growing demand for a specialist at a domestic as well as at an international labor-market. Our graduates completed their education in English on bachelors and master programs have felt the results. After all, a proficient language together with a professional training is the key stone to success everywhere – in Ukraine and Russia, in China and France, in the USA and Great Britain
Students having their courses in English actively participate in conferences and contests.

A great attention is paid to seminars and round-table discussions together with representatives from foreign institutions.
