The system of impedance diagnostics of composite materials

The system is appeared to be a software-hardware complex that carries out accumulation and processing of the information signals received from the mechanical impedance sensors, and also the visualizations results.

 

The system basic principles allow us to work in the mode of multifunctional impedance defectoscope compatible with standard detectors of different type as well as at mode of accumulation and initial data processing system.    

The system content:

laptop HP Compaq 6510b;

analog to digital converter of the Acute-1202(USB) type carried out the accumulation and initial signals processing;

standard detectors of mechanical impedance (compatible, separately compatible - 1, PADI-8, LA-1);

applied software package responsible for the process control for data accumulation, analysis, visualization and storage.

The software allows us to carry out the following types of statistical and spectral signals processing in real time:

to select the signals envelope and  phase;

to plot a signal parameters distribution histogram;

to evaluate a mathematical expectation and a mean-square deviation of a signal parameters;

to carry out a continuous and random records of the required signal parameters on an operators choice;

to perform the data acquisition in the continuous or synchronous modes.  

The system allows us to determine:  

segregation in multilayered constructions made of polymeric composite materials;

unglued parts between the revetment and rigidness elements or light aggregate.
