Advanced machine of 2070 СМТ-1 type for material’s friction and wearing testing

The machine is intended for testing metals, alloys and rigid engineering plastics. The machine makes a computer registration of obtained data.

The machine consists of test unit, control panel and data collection.

The machine principle of operation is in pair of samples rubbing. The samples are pressed to each other with the fixed force.

 

In case of testing pair disc - disc, the both samples can rotate with or without slipping. In case of testing pairs disc - pad and shaft - bushing, the pad and bushing

During testing the machine registers

-  The speed of rotation;

-   Friction torque;

-   Pressing force;

-   Magnitude of wear;

-  Number of lifetime cycles.

It is also possible to make testing in different medium and provide registration of temperature.

Automated system of analytical data collection gives possibility to register up to 10 numerical parameters and graphical display simultaneously. The obtained results are possible to save in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

Performance specification

Speed of rotation of the lower sample axle is (75Е1500) rpm.

Measurement range of the lower sample shaft rotation: A -(75Е750) rpm; B - (150Е1500) rpm.

Measurement range of the friction torque: I - (1Е10) Nm; II - (2Е20) Nm.

Measurement range of pressing force acting on samples: I - (200Е2000) N; II - (500Е5000) N.

Admissible reduced error of lower sample shaft rotation speed sensor is ± 3%.

Number of digits of shaft rotation counter is 6.

 

Nominal value of the least significant digit of the total rotation counter is 100 rotations.

Maximal permissible friction torque: 20 Nm (for the samples disc-disc in the ranges ј and B; for the samples disc - pad and shaft - bushing in the range ј).

Maximal permissible friction torque: 10 Nm (for the samples disc - pad and shaft - bushing in the range B).

Limit of allowed value of RMS deviation of reduced error random component for friction torque sensor in the static load mode is 1%.

Allowed value of RMS deviation of reduced error for friction torque sensor in the static load mode is 1%.

Slip coefficient for samples with equal diameters is (0±2), (10±2), (15±2), (20±2) %.
