Trade Union
Trade Union of NAU is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental organization which independently organizes its work in order to represent and protect labor, social and economic rights and interests of Union members. It operates on the basis of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Union was established in 1933, since the creation of Kiev Aviation Institute, and is a professional union of Aviation workers of Ukraine. One of the most important issues in trade union activity is the preparation and adoption of the Collective Agreement with the administration of each calendar year at the meeting of a NAU.
According to the Code of Laws of Ukraine "On labor" the collective agreement provides the main obligations of the parties on the regulation of production, labor, social and economic relations, reconciling the interests of employees (working hours, conditions and safety, establishing compensation and benefits, providing housing and community, cultural, health care, organization of health and recreation, etc.).
Members of the Trade Union are involved in the different management structures and university committees, public organizations.
