The Institute was founded in 1948. Over 30 thousand of its graduates work in the airlines, sector enterprises, research institutes and design bureaus. They total 60% of the CIS airlines and companies engineers.
The institute structure comprises numerous branches as well as training and consulting centers in 40 cities of Ukraine, Yerevan (Armenia) , Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Tyumen (Russian Federation). Students from CIS countries, Great Britain, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Central Africa and Mongolia study here.
The education process involves professors and highly skilled senior lecturers, leading specialists of enterprises. Training is closely connected with real conditions of work of future specialists.
Computers, simulating and training equipment for developing practical skills in the field of aviation engineering operation increase considerably the efficiency and quality of educational process. The Institute provides the system of distance learning.
The language of instruction is either Ukrainian or Russian or English. All nonresident students are provided with hostel accommodation for the examination period.
