Since 1996 the Institute has been training experts making use of the latest information technologies in the trades of: "Organization of the land use and cadastre"; "Geodesy"; "Photogrammetry"; "Cartography"; "Information management systems and technologies"; "Finance"; "Ecology and environmental protection"; "Jurisprudence".
The educational process is provided by Doctors of Engineering Science, professors V. Boroviy, V. Burachek, Y. Parnyakov, V. Tokarev, S. Ogorodnyk, O. Zaporozhets, O. Polumbryk, 29 PhDs and senior lecturers.
Within the structure of the Institute there are 8 departments headed by the experts with large scientific and pedagogical experience. These departments have modern material, technical, scientific and methodic base.
The Institute provides assistance with employment. The graduates work in the bodies of the State Committee on Ground Resources, Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, Ministry of Ecology and Extreme Situations, Kyivmis'kbud, Kyivmetrobud, as well as in legal, financial, banking and various commercial organizations.
