For a year on the base of National Aviation University the concerto hall of the Center of Culture and Arts, which was founded in 1978, was renewed.
Center of Culture and Arts has rich creative history and large experience in the organization of the concert programs, festivals, creative meetings with the men of note, competitions of commands of Club of Smart and Merry, meetings, conferences, and others like that.
History of university began in August, 1933. In times of the existence educational establishment became the real smith of aviation workers, preparing the dozens of thousands of specialists, which work in Ukraine and almost in 90 countries of the world. Among them scientists, organizers of production, military and state figures, are known. They are Heads of aviation companies, factories, design bureaus, educational establishments, organizations and services of different departments. Many graduating students work in the walls of native university, enhancing its glory.
In a responsible and difficult period of reformation of higher education in Ukraine the staff of university entered at the head with a rector - professor V. Babak. Under his guidance conception of development of university under rapid rates was realized and now is being implemented and developed. The university is transforming in broad study-programs educational establishment.
Taking into account national and international confession of results of activity and ponderable contribution to development of national higher education and science, by Decree of the former President of Ukraine L. Kuchma in September, 2000 university status is changed to National.
