Satellite radio navigation systems provide millimeter accuracy in measurement on a global level. They are used for fundamental research, continents drift and the Earths poles movement observation, in geodesy and cartography for cadastres and digital maps development. The satellite systems possess the high priority in the navigation and control of the aviation, marine and terrestrial transport means.

Monitoring of navigation field

Navigation satellites generate and create a navigation field in the near Earth space at altitude of about 20 thousand km. Its monitoring has to confirm the navigation system accuracy, integrity, continuity and operational readiness.
