- The transfer of the foreign citizens (including from countries of CIS) in a postgraduate course of internal or external form of training implements on contract (paid basis), as a rule, twice a year - June 1 and December 1, and without limitation of time. It is necessary previously to arrive to university till March 1 or till September 1 with the purpose of training for taking 3 candidate examinations, contract signing, payment sum for half a year of training (1122 US dollars) and legalization of nesessary documents list.
- The training of the foreign citizens in a postgraduate course behind the contract means, that one party of the contract is the administration of the university, and other parts is foreign citizen - candidate in the postgraduate students.
- The cost of one year training in a postgraduate course of university internal or external form makes 2245 US dollars (without the cost of residing in a university's hostel). The payment of the contract sums implements 20 days before till the beginning of each educational half a year.
- The foreign citizens - graduates NAU (or similar higher educational establishments) in the age of till 45 years are entered in a postgraduate course internal or external form of training if there is the diploma with distinction or, as a rule, without satisfactory marks.
- Speciality, on which one the candidate in the postgraduate students was trained, being the student of higher educational establisment, should correspond to a scientific specialty, selected in a postgraduate course.
- The candidates in the postgraduate students should pass on the paid basis (55 US dollars for each examination) candidate examinations in philosophy, foreign language (Ukrainian or Russian) and speciality.
- The candidate examinations at a postgraduate course NAU in philosophy, foreign language and one of scientific specialties are taken by the foreign citizens - candidates in the post-graduate students twice a year - in second half of April or in second half of October, namely:
Vernal session:
From April 15 till April 30;Autumnal session:
From October 15 till October 30. - Term of training in a postgraduate course of internal form should not exceed 3 years, and external - 4 years.
- The scientific chief of the postgraduate student can be, as a rule, doctor of sciences. Only, by way of exception, the postgraduate student can be supervised by the experienced candidate of sciences from the sanction of scientific advice NAU under condition of, if at faculty there is no doctor of sciences on an indispensable scientific specialty. The scientific chief for the postgraduate student can be only one, the thesis can be executed only at one scientific speciality.
- The settlement of the foreign postgraduate students in NAU's hostels makes by decanes of the conforming faculties in accordance with a separate Rule and for an extra pay.
- Each foreign postgraduate student before ending a postgraduate course is obliged:
- to pass all candidate examinations;
- to finish dissertation's researches completely;
- to write and to issue on the computer 6 copies of a candidate thesis in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian Hihg certifying commission;
- to publish not less than 5 scientific articles on a subject of a thesis in the specialized scientific collections of NAU or other known High schools, scientific organizations (marked in the Reports of Hihg certifying commission);
- to pass preliminary supporting a thesis on sub-faculty meeting or (if it's necessary) at an intersub-faculty seminar;
- to support a candidate thesis in prescribed of training a postgraduate course on meeting of the conforming scientific specialized council NAU or at the other High school or organization. Only provided that abstract of a thesis before supporting multiplies for the foreign postgraduate students by a printing house of university at the expense of university's resources.
- NAU reserves the right to deduct the foreign subject from a postgraduate course:
- for non-fulfilment of the annual scheme of preparation;
- on a bad health condition if there is the concluding of medical commission;
- for violation of the rules of residing in a hostel;
- for violation of the NAU's charter, laws and Constitution of Ukraine, rules of residing and removal on Ukrainian territory;
- for untimely delivery of a blood for the AIDS analysis;
- for untimely payment of the contract sum.
